The History
In 1970, Erich Hafner, mechanical engineer, began with the production of pneumatic valves in Southern Germany. Under his ownership, the company becomes a worldwide established manufacturer of pneumatic components.

In 1989, Erich Hafner sold the company to his German partner. At the age of 60, Erich Hafner returns to Hungary, his home country, and starts a new company with a hungarian team.
1991 Foundation of the Hafner Pneumatika Kft. in Mosonmagyaróvár.
1992 Cooperation with the German distributor JOYNER pneumatics GmbH. Manufacturing of the former Knorr valves and of a modern pneumatic valve program.
1998 The company moves to a new manufacturing facility in Halászi. Hafner Pneumatika starts sales in Hungary. First exhibition on the Industria trade show in Budapest.
1999 Foundation of the Hafner-Pneumatik Krämer KG in Stuttgart, managed by Mr. Hafners daughter and Andreas Krämer, her husband. The internationalisation of the company begins.
2001 Distributors in France, Finland, Poland, Slovenia and Romania.
The new valve line MD 16 is introduced. Enlargement of the manufacturing plant.
2002 Hafner-Pneumatik Krämer KG moves to a larger facility in Kornwestheim.
2003 Hafner-Pneumatik presents the products for the first time on the Hannover Fair.
2004 Launching of the new Hafner valve terminal. The company exhibits on five international trade-shows.
2005 Opening of a new building doubling manufacturing space in September 2005.
2006 First-time presentation of products for process automation on the ACHEMA trade-show in Frankfurt. Products of Hafner are sold in 23 countries worldwide.
2007 Presentation of the valve catalogue edition 2007 on the Hannover Messe. The catalogue contains more than 150 new products. Hafner-Pneumatik and it's distribution partners are present on not less than 8 international trade-shows.
2009 Hafner-Pneumatik is celebrating 10-year anniversary. Distributors in Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Denmark enlarge the sales network.
2010 The valve catalogue edition 2010 is released. Numerous new products enlarge the range. The highlight: "Hafner on the Rocks" a series of valves for applications from -50° C to +50° C.
